Dog photographer looking for a unique way to show your work?

Whether you are a new dog photographer or a seasoned veteran - City Puppies is the most unique resource for you to showcase your work.

The concept?

Use City Puppies to create a book centered around your photographs.  Each City Puppies edition is geared towards showcasing our furry friends, along with a small biography to allow the reader to learn what makes them howl. 

To complete a book we need to have 75 different subjects.  You could either plan on photographing 75 new subjects or simply submit 75 that you have already photographed.  Either way, the end number has to be at least 75.  It can be more but not less.

In addition to submitting the photos to City Puppies, each dog owner must go online and fill out their dog's biography and purchase at least 1 book.  Once we receive 75 submissions - we publish, print and ship to each owner!

The end result is a beautiful coffee table book with YOUR photography for everyone to see (and sniff). 

Your cut?

60% of all sales. Roughly around $1,500.  This depends highly on how many books were purchased from each owner, how many local stores carry our books, printing prices, etc.  Don't worry, we want the profits to be high too so we will be doing everything we can to make that number greater than ever.

Advertising?

Once you sign on to start working on an edition in your area, we will start to find advertisers to sign on to put their information in the back of the book in our "business directory." We do need to fill this section prior to printing. Price for advertising is $30 per spot and includes their information in our online business directory for no less than 1 year. 

City Puppies will gladly do most of the work in this department. However, it never hurts to have someone on the inside helping us out. Seeing as though you live in that area you are considered a great asset to us and we hope that you will be willing to help us reach our goal of 40 advertisers.  They will be able to sign up online without you having to take any information down.

Customized for you.

The book will be completely customized for you. In addition to putting your name on the front cover, we can put a small amount of information on each page if you wish to have it there (such as a link to your website, etc.). We can't go overboard because the templates have already been created and changing them means paying more and it simply isn't worth it.  You can also write the forward, the photographer's biography, the dedication and possibly a few more options. Don't worry though, it will be all about you - the star of the book!
